Product Description

Coconut shell activated carbon
Coconut shell activated carbon is a new type of activated carbon made from coconut shells, activated and carbonized at high temperature, and loaded with photocatalysts and carbon fibers. Its adsorption capacity for organic gases is 5 times higher than that of ordinary activated carbon, and the adsorption rate is faster.

Coconut shell activated carbon has a developed specific surface area and rich micropores. The specific surface area can reach 1000-1600m2/g, the micropore volume is about 90%, and the micropore diameter is 10A-40A. It has the advantages of large specific surface area, moderate pore size, uniform distribution, fast adsorption speed, and less impurities.

Coconut shell activated carbon is the highest quality among all fruit shell activated carbons. It has high mechanical strength while maintaining super strong adsorption performance.

L.T Graphite producing coconut shell activated carbon, does not add or assist any chemicals in the entire process from raw materials to finished products. It is a truly "green" product with better food safety assurance. It is used in various water purification treatments, deep water treatment, etc. It is the first choice for water purification materials.

1. During transportation, coconut shell activated carbon should be prevented from mixing with hard materials, and should not be stepped on or trampled to prevent carbon particles from breaking and affecting quality.

2. Storage should be stored in porous adsorbents, so during transportation, storage and use, it must be completely prevented from water immersion, because after water immersion, a large amount of water fills the active voids, making it ineffective.

3. During use, tar-like substances should be prohibited from being brought into the activated carbon bed to avoid clogging the activated carbon voids and making it lose its adsorption effect. It is recommended to have decoking equipment to purify the gas.

4. Fireproof activated carbon should be prevented from direct contact with fire sources during storage or transportation to prevent fire. When activated carbon is regenerated, avoid oxygen intake and regenerate thoroughly. After regeneration, it needs to be cooled with steam to below 80°C, otherwise the temperature is high and it will spontaneously ignite when exposed to oxygen.
