The crucible with alumina content above 95%, (shape: square, cylindrical, arc) can be used at a temperature of 1600 degrees, suitable for various laboratories, testing centers, analysis of metal and non-metal samples and other industrial analysis.
L.T Group has a comprehensive product and technology portfolio that focuses on four field of graphite - ultrafine particle graphite mould, graphite electrode, graphite crucible, as well as other products mainly made of graphite.
Graphite materials exhibit unique properties such as good electrical and thermal conductivity, heat and corrosion resistance, low friction, and reduced weight while at the same time maintaining high strength. Due to the shortage of energy and raw materials, our high performance products made from graphite are in increasingly high demand in industries. They also play a progressively important role in everyday life, thereby substituting traditional materials
1. Cleaning: Soak in nitric acid for a long time; then wash with water.
2. Dry moisture: The corundum crucible should be dried before use to prevent bursting caused by water. It is usually dried at a temperature of about 200 degrees, and the temperature is slowly raised to 800 degrees in a high-temperature furnace for 6 hours. Use after cooling.
3. Remove impurities: convert insoluble matter into soluble nitrate and remove
Remove trace nitrates in the crucible (thermal decomposition method): Note that the heating rate must not be fast, otherwise the crucible will be skinned (explosive damage).
4. Try to heat up as slowly as possible, and cool down as slowly as possible, the speed of heating and cooling has a great impact on the service life of the crucible.
5. The corundum crucible is suitable for melting samples with some weak alkaline substances such as anhydrous Na2C03 as flux, but not suitable for melting samples with strong alkaline substances such as Na 202 and NaOH and acidic substances (such as K2S 207, etc.)
