Impregnated resin graphite is a type of impermeable graphite. Impregnated resin graphite is to impregnate graphite with synthetic resin to fill the surface and internal pores (the graphite will have pyrolysis material discharged during the sintering process and there will be pores, and its porosity is about 10%~30% by volume), and then Heat treatment is performed to cure the resin. Compared with graphite, resin impregnated graphite has higher mechanical strength and wear resistance, and its thermal conductivity remains unchanged. Impregnated resin graphite is widely used in mechanical seal materials. The impregnated resin graphite mainly developed by our company are:
1. Impregnated phenolic resin
Phenolic resin is a general term for a type of resin obtained by condensation polymerization of phenolic compounds under the action of a catalyst. Phenolic resin is currently the most widely used impermeable graphite impregnant, with good acid resistance, but poor alkali resistance and high temperature resistance.
2. Impregnated furan resin
Furan resin is a thermosetting resin. It is a collective name for a class of polymers made from furfural, with furan rings in the molecular structure, so it is called furan resin. Furan resin is strong in acid and alkali resistance, so furan resin is more commonly used.
3. Impregnated epoxy resin
Epoxy resin is a kind of high molecular polymer containing epoxy group. Among them, diphenol-based propane resin (condensation of epichlorohydrin and diphenol-based propane) is the best impregnation. Representative grades are 610, 618, 634, etc. Epoxy resin is a thermosetting resin with good corrosion resistance (especially alkali resistance), high mechanical strength, and good heat resistance, and the stable storage time of epoxy resin impregnant is more than 6 months.
4. impregnated PTFE
Polytetrafluoroethylene has low intermolecular cohesion and chemical stability, so it has excellent wear resistance and corrosion resistance. It has good temperature resistance and can adapt to the temperature of -180~250ºC.
Raw materials is very important, We only use Ultrafine particle structure, High purity and High graphitization raw graphite materials. Our finished graphite mold is:
a: dense structure and low porosity
b: Fined surface and low rate heat-deformation
c: High mechanical strength and machining accuracy
d: Oxidation resistance and durable
